Your appointment

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • by text or email.

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

East Northants Hub is a new GP led evening and weekend service where local GPs and other clinicians offer a range of services for patients registered with a GP practice in East Northants. Please visit the Hub Website here for more information. How do I get an appointment? Please call your usual GP surgery and ask the receptionist to book you a GP HUB APPOINTMENT.​ Only patients who have an appointment will be seen. This is NOT a walk-in service. Hub service hours Available as follows: 18.30 – 20.00 Monday to Friday 08.00 – 12.00 Weekends 08.00 – 12.00 Bank Holidays All appointments will be located at Harborough Field Surgery, 160 Newton Road, Rushden, NN10 0GP

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Please tell us:

  • If there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond.
  • If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, or by text or email.
  • If you need an interpreter.
  • If you have any other access or communication needs.
If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. To request a home visit, please call the the practice on 01832 732456. We will assess your needs and book you in for a paramedic to visit you using the extended access hub if required.
