The Doctors

Dr Stephen Cotterell

A graduate from Cambridge and then the London Hospital, Stephen registered as a doctor in 1985, and has been practising in Thrapston since 1990.
Stephen's main interests are walking, cycling and home improvement.  He is also a member of the local Rotary Club, soon to be President for a year. He is married to Helen and has 2 children. 

Dr Geoff Nicholson

A graduate from the London Hospital Medical College in 1988, Geoff qualified as a GP in 1993 and joined the practice in 1996

Dr Lynn Warren

Lynn graduated from the London Hospital. She has further qualifications in obstetrics and gynaecology. In General Practice, she has a special interest in women's health. Away from the surgery, Lynn enjoys foreign travel and experiencing other cultures.

Administration Team

Gordon Shone - Practice Manager
The Practice Managers role covers finance, personnel, premises management, information technology, procurement, health & safety at work and very rarely, complaints. In short, it is everything non medical at the surgery.

Sheila Hankins - Deputy Practice Manager
Sheila assists Gordon in his role as well as helping out on reception. Shelia is a Qualified Counsellor Practitioner.

Val Hefford - Senior Receptionist
In the practice for 35 years, enjoys art, reading and travelling to the Far East.

Jan Wells - Receptionist
Jan enjoys keeping fit, the countryside, crosswords and games.
