Emergency Consultations

All urgent problems will be offered an emergency/same day appointment, or alternatively may be dealt with during open surgery. See Book on the Day Surgery Hours. 

Out of Hours Numbers

The doctors of this practice are all members of Nenedoc.

NENEDOC is a co-operative of local GP's who work together on a rota system to share night and weekend cover. The telephone number you should dial if you need advice or treatment from a doctor out of hours is 03336 664 664.

The Surgery answer-phone is switched on out of hours. The message will advise you of NENEDOC's telephone number.

In a life threatening emergency you may still dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.

NHS Direct

For advice about medical conditions, you may call NHS Direct's 24 hour nurse led helpline on 08 45 46 47. Alternatively, there is a comprehensive lisiting on the NHS Direct web site.

If you are unsure about any medical condition then contact the surgery, if we are closed then contact NENEDOC 

Home Visits

We will only visit you at home if you are really too ill or infirm to be brought to the surgery.

Facilities for examination and treatment are better at the surgery and the less time a doctor spends travelling, the more time is available for patients.

Please only ask for a home visit if it is strictly necessary.
